Using the very popular and proven VG-10 Japanese steel as the cutting core, Kitsune ensures that this super functional knife line will perform as well as Japanese knives that cost much more. They harden the Rhythm knives to 62RH, which makes them incredibly strong and the blades don’t dull too fast while being easy to maintain.
The Kitsune Symmetry line is designed and hand constructed to work as well as the leading Japanese knives and feel as solid as a western knife in your hand. All Kitsune knives are hand-finished to a 15-degree bevel.
The blade is made from 67 layers of layered steel. This is known as a Damascus design which provides strength and flexibility per layer. The handle is made of a wood resinated composite, which is waterproof but feels like highly polished wood.
Kitsune knives are guaranteed against manufacturer’s defects forever. If for any reason, your knife degrades due to a fault of the material your knife will be replaced. This does not mean that we will replace a knife that has been damaged due to poor maintenance.
